The house
The Relais Torre dei Torti represents the desire of the owners to share with their guests the charm and relaxing atmosphere of the house, two particular characteristics of the family villa.
The Bed and Breakfast occupies a portion of the villa. The house is an iconic Italian villa dating back to the first half of the 18th century, and is located on what once was the ancient bank of the Ticino river, in an elevated position above the plain where the town of Pavia lies.
The villa has been completely renovated in accordance to the owners’ tastes and senses with a passion and uncompromised focus being made on the details. All the unique characteristics of the original structure have been preserved, such as the terracotta floors, the coffered ceilings and more, so that the guests will enjoy a relaxing stay in this exclusive and charming environment.
At the guests’ disposal is a small, well-equipped kitchen to help meet their every need, as well as an adjacent living room for lounging and reading. Breakfast is served in the veranda or in the inner court, in relation to the season. A garden and outdoor private pool are also located on the grounds and are complimentary for guests’ use during warmer seasons. The pool is a salted water pool and equipped with an outdoor hot shower as well. Convenient and adjacent parking on-site to the Relais and is complimentary.
